What Was Specified
UV marble sheet at 1220x2440mm bonded to a flat substrate for the large wall and ceiling areas, with PU stone panels where real surface relief is wanted on a feature wall or a front desk.
The Result
A marble reading interior cut with woodworking tools and fixed by the joinery team.

How Work Like This Is Built
Set out the sheet layout
Joints in the wrong place are the first thing seen.
The 1220x2440mm sheet grid is planned against the wall dimensions.
Choose the thickness by application
Wall, ceiling and furniture are different duties.
2.5, 2.8 or 3mm is selected per surface.
Bond to a flat substrate
A sheet follows whatever is behind it.
The substrate is flattened before the sheet is bonded.
Finish the edges with trim
A raw cut edge shows the core.
Matching profile trim closes every exposed edge.
Use PU stone where relief is wanted
A printed surface has no shadow.
Moulded PU stone panels are used on feature walls and desks.
