View specificationsFuel theft is found late because the data arrives late. An alert on the drop and an alert on the refill turn a monthly reconciliation into a same day conversation.
A fuel sensor feeds the analog input. When the level in the tank falls by a set amount within a set time, the tracker sends an alarm message. When it rises to a set amount, it sends a notification too, so a refuel is logged against a place and a time.
One analog input is standard across the vehicle range, including the entry level R-18. VT-390 supports a maximum of four fuel sensors as an option, which covers vehicles with multiple tanks.
Temperature detection uses the same analog capability on VT-390, so a cold chain vehicle can carry fuel and temperature monitoring on one device.
