VT-302 is a hard wired fleet tracker that doubles as a car alarm. It reports the driver ID to your tracking platform, so a dispatcher sees which driver moved which vehicle and at what time, and it refuses to let an unidentified driver start the engine. Reader choice is left open: iButton, Bluetooth beacon, fingerprint, passive RFID or the driver's phone acting as the tag.

Firmware behaviour can be changed to match your platform and your customer's rules: reporting logic, alarm text, protocol fields and reader type. Housing and packaging can carry your own brand.
Choose VT-302 over VT-301 when you need the RS232 serial port for a third party peripheral. If you do not need serial data, VT-301 covers the same driver ID and anti theft feature set. For camera and WiFi hotspot work, step up to VT-390.
Wire to vehicle power and ACC, connect the chosen reader, register the tags on the platform, then set separate engine on and engine off intervals before handing the vehicle over. Test the immobiliser with the vehicle stationary.
Passive RFID or iButton. Both scale to a large tag list, 500+ ID numbers for passive RFID and 100+ tags for iButton, and neither depends on the driver's phone.
It controls the vehicle through the digital output and immobilises only when speed is below 30 km/h, so the vehicle is not cut at speed.
Positions are written to the 64MB memory, up to 30,000 records, and uploaded once the network returns.
