The only option that arms and disarms by proximity: walk about 10 metres away and the system arms, come back and it disarms. It also enables the anti hijack behaviour, where the vehicle is immobilised after the driver with the beacon leaves, once speed drops below 30 km/h.
No hardware to issue. Useful for contractors and short term drivers, at the cost of depending on the driver's own device.
VT-301 and VT-302 cover all five reader types, and VT-301 includes driver ID recognition without a separate RFID kit purchase. VT-390 supports RFID driver identification with automatic arm and disarm.
