How It Runs
Match The Footprint
Our LFP12xx range is built in lead acid style ABS cases. LFP1207 is 151*65*94*100mm, LFP12100 is 328*172*215*220mm. Find the row that matches your current battery.
Match The Terminal
F2, M5, M6 and M8 terminals are published per model, so the existing lug or spade fits.
Check The Charger
LFP packs can be charged using most standard lead acid chargers. A 12.8V pack wants 14.6V, so confirm the charger's top of charge.
Confirm The Current
A lead acid block sized for capacity is often oversized for current. Compare your real load with the published continuous and maximum discharge current.
Take The Weight Saving
A LiFePO4 pack is about 40% to 50% of the weight of a comparable lead acid battery, which often matters more than the energy.
Plan For The Cycles
More than 2000 cycles at 80% capacity remaining, against a few hundred for deep cycled lead acid.

Is the replacement really drop-in?
Electrically and mechanically it is designed to be, provided the case size, terminal and charge voltage all match. Send us the model you use now and we will confirm against the model list.
Do I need a new charger?
Usually not. Our LFP packs can be charged using most standard lead acid chargers, but the charger should not exceed 14.6V on a 12.8V pack.
What maintenance does the LiFePO4 pack need?
None. The packs are maintenance free with internal cell balancing.
