Quality Control
Eight checkpoints between an enquiry and a loaded container. The one that matters most is the signed approved sample, because everything after it is measured against a physical object rather than an adjective.
Approved sample
A physical sample signed by both sides before production. Everything afterwards is measured against it, not against a description.
Colour chip approval
Free plastic colour chips in the real material against your PANTONE reference, approved before moulding starts.
Paper proof approval
Decal artwork confirmed on a paper proof before the plate is set up. This is the point after which set up cost is committed.
First off inspection
The first parts off each mould checked for short shots, flash, sink marks and colour against the chip.
In line inspection
Assembly, gasket seating, clip function and print registration checked during the run rather than only at the end.
Pre shipment inspection
Finished goods checked against the approved sample, plus carton count, carton dimensions and shipping marks.
Loading check
Carton count and loading pattern verified against the published loading figure for the item.
Third party option
Your nominated inspector scheduled into the plan, working from the same approved sample.
Certification We Have Not Issued Does Not Go On This Site
A great many supplier websites carry certification logos that do not survive a single question. We would rather this page were shorter and true.
- We do not display CE, ISO or food contact logos we cannot produce a current certificate for.
- We do not publish a seal, load, temperature retention or cycle life figure without a test behind it for that specific reference.
- We do not describe our four side lock boxes as fully inversion proof, because we have not tested for that claim.
- Where a market needs a specific standard, name it and we will arrange third party testing for that order and give you the report.
Questions About Quality
Do you hold ISO or BSCI certification?
We do not publish a certification we have not issued. If your buying policy requires a specific audit or certificate, tell us which one and we will tell you honestly whether we hold it and what it would take to obtain it for your programme.
Can I appoint a third party inspector?
Yes. Nominate your inspection company and we will schedule the inspection into the production plan. The approved sample is the reference they will work against.
What happens if a shipment does not match the approved sample?
Raise it with photographs and the carton and batch information. The approved sample is the agreed reference, which is exactly why we insist on signing one before production.
What is your minimum order quantity?
3000 pcs per design per item, and not less than US$5,000 per item. A mixed order of several items is normal and is the usual way a first container is put together.
What are your price terms?
FOB Shantou for orders above 25 CBM. For LCL or FCL below 25 CBM the term is Ex-work Shantou plus handling charge. If you need FOB Shenzhen there is a transport fee of US$600 per container from the factory to Shenzhen port. Quotations are valid for one month.
Tell Us Which Standard Your Market Requires
Name the test standard and the destination and we will tell you plainly whether we already meet it, what testing would cost, and how long it adds to the schedule.
