HOWO garbage compactor trucks are built for municipal waste collection fleets operating in urban and semi-urban environments. Four main configurations are available: 4x2 HOWO chassis with 110HP engine and 4 ton capacity, 4x2 HOWO chassis with 160HP engine and 8 ton capacity, 4x2 Steyr chassis with 266HP engine and 10 ton capacity, and 6x4 HOWO chassis with 370HP engine and 20cbm capacity. All models use a manual gearbox with 6 or 10 shifts. The compactor body is built from high strength steel and includes a Siemens PLC control system. Truck dimensions range from 6200X2200X2600mm to 10500X2500X3400mm.
The compactor body increases payload efficiency by compressing waste during transport, reducing the number of trips needed. The 16cbm and 20cbm models are suited for high volume collection routes. Tank colour and logo are applied at the factory at no extra charge. Trucks are shipped from China main port by Ro-ro, bulk ship or container. All models are built to customer technical drawings and specifications. The standard lead time is 30 days after advance payment. Photos and videos of the truck are sent before the balance payment is made.
