Diagnostic interfaces for EV and battery systems

Electric vehicles moved diagnostics from the engine bay to the battery pack, and brought new interfaces with them. Our EV cable range exists because the standard 16-pin lead stopped being the whole answer.

The failure we design against

What actually goes wrong

An EV battery management system tester deals with higher voltages, tighter EMI constraints, and vehicle-specific interfaces that are not always J1962 on both ends. Getting a reliable link means treating the cable as an engineered component, not an accessory.

How we answer it

We build dedicated EV diagnostic leads and vehicle-specific assemblies, with the shielding, jacket material and connector interface specified for the platform rather than adapted to it.

What matters here

Three things this application asks of the port

Vehicle-specific ends

Assemblies terminated to the interface the platform actually uses, on both ends.

Shielding that matters

Foil and braid selected for interference rejection in an electrically dense vehicle.

Jacket selection

Oil-resistant and high-temperature jackets available where the route demands it.

Where to start
