Packing decisions are made at the factory and paid for in your warehouse. Getting them right protects both the landed cost and the receiving process.
The standard packing
Our standard is one piece per pp bag and 30 pieces per carton, and it can be changed to your requirement. That fixed carton count is what lets a receiving team check a delivery without opening every bag, and it is worth keeping even when the retail packing changes.
Retail packing applied at source
Header cards, hang tags, woven labels, barcodes and printed retail bags can all be applied during packing. Doing it at source removes a repacking operation at your end, which on a large range usually costs more than the packing itself.
Carton count and container fill
Towels are bulky rather than heavy, so a container fills by volume long before it reaches its weight limit. Ask for carton dimensions before you model the landed cost, because a 10 percent change in carton size changes how many pieces reach your warehouse per container.
Multi-piece sets
Sets are assembled and counted into one bag at packing, with the set count on the packing list. Assembling at source is the only reliable way to prevent a short-shipped set, because a missing piece inside a sealed bag is invisible at receiving.
Documents travelling with the goods
The commercial set and the compliance evidence are prepared with the shipment. A container held at port for a missing certificate costs more in demurrage than the certificate ever cost to obtain.
