Oeko-Tex Standard 100 covers the product

Oeko-Tex Standard 100 tests the textile itself for harmful substances against a defined limit list. It is a product level certification, which is why buyers ask for it when the goods will touch skin, and why it is the standard applied across our kids and baby range.

AZO free is a substance requirement not a certificate

AZO free means the dyestuffs used do not release the restricted aromatic amines controlled in the EU and other markets. Our dyestuffs are AZO free to USA and EU market standard. It is a requirement your compliance team will check inside the test evidence rather than a separate certificate on a wall.

BSCI covers the workplace

BSCI is a social compliance audit of working conditions in the supply chain, not a test of the product. Group procurement policies commonly require it before releasing a first purchase order, which is why it is worth requesting the current copy at quotation stage rather than at shipment.

SEDEX is a shared audit platform

SEDEX holds ethical audit data that member buyers can access. It answers the same class of question as BSCI, and some retail groups specify one, some the other, and some accept either. Ask your compliance team which they file.

Getting the file complete before the order

The delays we see are almost never about a missing certification, they are about certificates being requested after the purchase order is raised. Ask for current copies with the quotation and put them in the file at the start, so the shipment is not waiting on paperwork at the end.
