Confirm what is fixed and what is open
Colour and packaging are usually open. Frame geometry, tooling and wheel fitment may not be. Get this settled before artwork is produced.
Sample and sign off
Approve a physical sample against the artwork before production. Photographs are not a substitute for a sample on an own-brand line.
Production and packing
Confirm the packing method, because it decides the container quantity and therefore the landed cost.
Shipment and re-order
Keep the approved sample and the signed artwork on file so the second order matches the first.
