Build The Schedule Around Duty

Consumable life on a rope shovel is a function of duty cycle and material, not of calendar time. A machine in continuous surface coal duty will get through wire rope, GET and filters faster than the same machine on an intermittent cycle.

Take the last twelve months of issues from the site store, sort them by item, and the schedule writes itself.

What To Order Together

• Wire rope with the associated seals, pins and fasteners for the change
• Filters with the lube and hydraulic system items they sit alongside
• Bushings and sleeves as sets rather than singles
• Motor brushes in quantities that match the inspection interval

1. List the items with quantity per period.
2. Put the machine model against each line.
3. Give the delivery dates you want, not just a total quantity.
4. State the destination port and any documents your import process requires.
