What You Need to Start Without a Drawing

When there is no drawing, the buyer must supply a reference image, the desired height, details about the site and its sightlines, the preferred finish, and the date the sculpture must be standing. These inputs allow the workshop to begin the scheme design process, ensuring the final piece fits its environment before any fabrication starts.

The Design Is Driven by the Space, Not the Image

The reference image is used to understand the form and style, but the final design is shaped by the site’s dimensions, lighting, and how people move through it. The workshop uses this context to develop a scheme that works visually and structurally in its intended location, not just in a photograph.
