What Goes Wrong At Each Stage And What We Do About It

Site assessment
The problem. Roof or ground area, load profile and grid strength each cap the system independently.
How we handle it. We work from the site plan, the load profile and the grid connection terms together, rather than sizing generation first and fitting storage afterwards.

Generation design
The problem. Available area often caps the system size before the budget does.
How we handle it. TOPCon modules raise the watts per square metre, and multi-MPPT inverters let differently oriented roof sections share one unit.

Storage sizing
The problem. Storage that is too small never covers the evening load; too large and it idles.
How we handle it. Capacity is set against the daily generation and consumption curves, with a defined expansion path rather than headroom bought up front.

Transition and control
The problem. Grid-tied to island transfer is where microgrid designs most often fail on site.
How we handle it. Hybrid inverters and PCS are selected for the transfer behaviour the site needs and commissioned against it, not assumed from a datasheet line.

Commissioning and handover
The problem. A microgrid that nobody on site understands becomes a maintenance liability.
How we handle it. We supply the single-line diagram, commissioning sequence and monitoring setup, and walk the site team through the control logic.
