Flush Mount Models for Low Ceilings and Corridors
The Jedaz flush mount range includes four models designed for low ceiling spaces and corridors. Sizes are 300 mm, 390 mm, 508 mm and 660 mm in width, with overall heights of 86 mm, 150 mm, 381 mm and 864 mm. All models are constructed from metal with a shade made of opal white glass, clear crystal or acrylic with a white finish. Finishes are available in chrome or K gold.
IP Ratings and Where They Apply
One model in the range is rated IP44, which provides protection against splashing water from any direction. The remaining three models are rated IP20, meaning they offer protection against solid objects over 12 mm but no protection against water. IP20 is suitable for dry interiors only. If the installation site is exposed to moisture, the IP44 model is the only one that meets minimum requirements.
When to Use the IP44 Model
The IP44-rated flush mount is intended for areas where moisture may be present, such as covered terraces, pool halls, spa areas, commercial kitchens or corridors with high humidity. It is the only model in the range that can be installed in such environments. For all other dry interior spaces, the IP20 models are appropriate.
Height Considerations for Low Ceiling Installations
The model with an overall height of 86 mm is the lowest profile option. The 150 mm and 381 mm models are suitable for slightly higher ceilings, while the 864 mm model is intended for spaces with greater vertical clearance. All models are designed to fit within standard ceiling constraints without protruding.
What to Provide Before Drawing Approval
Before approving a drawing, confirm the room type, ceiling height, whether the space is dry or humid, and whether the fitting is located inside or outside the weather line. If the installation is in a bathroom, spa, kitchen or similar area, specify the zone. We will verify whether the selected model meets the environmental requirements.
