How to Use a 3D Printer Shelf Appropriately
The shelf saves floor area, but only some machine arrangements actually work. These are the combinations, and the one that does not.
What the Shelf Is For
The shelf is an aluminium alloy frame with a countertop, assembled into two layers to hold sign printers or other equipment. It ships flat packed to save container space and is assembled on site to save workshop space, which is the expensive kind in a major city.
Two MITO-80 Machines
With one shelf and two MITO-80 machines, put one on the top layer and one on the bottom. Two machines then occupy one floor position, and the operator stays in one place instead of walking between them.
One MITO-80 and One MITO-120 on One Shelf
Put the MITO-120 on the top layer and the MITO-80 below. The reverse does not work: the bottom layer is not big enough for a MITO-120. Note that a MITO-120 occupies the entire top layer, so there is no room there for the printer case and it has to sit beside the shelf.
One MITO-80 and One MITO-120 on Two Shelves
Using two shelves solves the printer case problem, because each machine then has space for its own case on its own layer rather than on a stool beside the frame.
Storing Filament on the Lower Layer
A MITO-120 on the top layer with filament stock on the bottom layer is a practical arrangement for a workshop with one large machine and a lot of material to keep off the floor.
Other Machines
The shelf is not only for printers. It also carries advertising machines and materials, including flat printing machines, UV curing machines, engraving machines, cutting machines and welding machines.

Can a MITO-120 go on the bottom layer
No. The bottom layer is not big enough for a MITO-120. It goes on top.
