Private Label And Packaging Checklist
Everything that carries your brand needs to be specified before production, not after.
Labels
Main woven label with your logo, size label, and a care label with fibre content and wash symbols for your market. Confirm placement - centre back neck, side seam or inside pocket - in writing.
Hang tags and price tickets
Artwork, material, string or pin attachment, and placement. If you need barcodes or retail price tickets, send the data file with the order.
Polybags and cartons
Polybag size, suffocation warning where required, folding method, tissue, and how many pieces per carton. Carton marks carry your reference, the size ratio and the count.
Ready for retail
Where a range ships straight to a store or a fulfilment centre, say so before production. Packing that has to be redone at your end wipes out the saving on the garment.
