What is a marine store group number
It is the two digit prefix that identifies the section of the ship's store an item belongs to — 15 for cloth and linen, 33 for safety equipment, 59 for pneumatic and electrical tools, 81 for packing and jointing, and so on. Ordering by group and code rather than description is what raises fill rate.
Do you supply shipowners directly or only through chandlers
Both. We supply shipowners and ship managers directly and also supply marine chandlers and wholesalers.
What is the minimum order
It depends on the line and is confirmed with the quotation. Many items can be supplied in small quantities when they travel with a larger consolidated order.
How do I pay
Payment terms are agreed with the quotation. Company and banking details are sent directly for account opening.
Which ports do you deliver to
We ship to your forwarder, agent or the receiving port. Tell us the delivery point with the order.
How long does an order take
Lead time depends on which lines are on the requisition. It is quoted with the price so you can plan against a date rather than an estimate.
Can you supply an item that is not in the catalogue
Send the description or a photograph and we will confirm whether it can be sourced before you commit to the rest of the order.
Do you accept drawings for custom parts
Yes. Send the drawing by email or a photograph on WhatsApp and tell us the application.
Is there an enquiry form on this site
