What The HMI Touchscreen Operator Station Does
Howcool's HMI (Human-Machine Interface) operator station provides a clear, full-colour touchscreen for cold-room operators to monitor temperature, humidity, alarms, and equipment status — without entering the plant room. Built on Weintek, Schneider Magelis, or Siemens KTP series touchscreens; pre-configured with Howcool's standard screen set in 8 languages (English, Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Indonesian).
Real-time display shows current room temperature for up to 16 zones, set-point, deviation alarms, compressor status (run/stop/fault), defrost timer countdown, and equipment operating hours. Operators can change set-points (password-protected), reset alarms, force a manual defrost, or download a 30-day data log to USB. Connects to the main PLC cabinet via Ethernet or RS-485.
