What The Integrated PLC Control Cabinet Does
Howcool's integrated PLC control cabinet is the central nervous system of every cold storage installation. A Siemens SIMATIC S7-200 SMART PLC coordinates compressor staging, defrost cycles, temperature and humidity regulation, and all safety interlocks. Schneider Electric contactors and overload relays handle motor switching; CHINT moulded-case breakers protect each circuit. All wiring is labeled, tested, and ready for field-bus connection to evaporator fan coils and condensing units.
Each cabinet is custom-engineered around the project's compressor count, evaporator zones, and door interlocks. Standard enclosure is IP54 painted steel with hinged front door and key lock; IP65 stainless steel optional for wet processing rooms. Factory-tested at full load before shipment, with test certificate and as-built wiring diagrams included.
