Why 10 m of height changes the design
A 10 m high chamber needs evaporators that can throw air the full height and depth of the racking, and a floor build-up that carries high-bay racking loads. Airflow design in tall chambers is the difference between an even temperature profile and a warm layer at the top of the racks.
Remote monitoring on a port site
Port cold storage often runs with minimal permanent staff. Remote monitoring with alarming means an excursion raises an alert immediately rather than at the next visit, which on a 5,000-ton frozen store is the difference between a service call and a claim.
