What the approval marks on a Dantech lamp mean, and how to choose a part that will pass inspection in your market.

Identify the Requirement
Buyers often ask for E-Mark when what the vehicle actually needs is a specific ECE regulation number.
Road-going lamps in Europe are approved under numbered ECE regulations. R10 covers electromagnetic compatibility; lighting function regulations such as R23, R112, R148 and R149 cover what the lamp is allowed to do.
Match the Part
Not every model in a range carries the same approvals.
Each Dantech product page lists the certificates recorded for that model. Where a model is listed with R10 only, it is tested for electromagnetic compatibility, not approved as a road lighting function.
Check the Fitment
An approved lamp fitted in the wrong position still fails inspection.
Mounting height, aim and the number of auxiliary lamps permitted are set by national rules, so confirm the fitment as well as the part.
Document the Shipment
Customs and inspection bodies want the paperwork, not a description.
