Four Stages From First Question to Delivered Goods
Each stage lists the problem it exists to prevent, then what happens in practice.
Survey the Existing Lamp
The replacement has to match a hole and a harness that already exist.
Start from the cut-out size, the bracket type and the connector on the machine. That normally narrows the range to two or three models.
Match the Beam Not the Wattage
Halogen wattage is a poor guide to how much usable light you get.
Compare the effective lumen figure and the beam pattern on the spec sheet rather than matching the old lamp wattage.
Check the Electrical System
Machine voltage varies far more than people expect, especially on battery trucks.
Dantech models list an operating voltage range on every spec sheet, with wide-range parts available for 9-80V and 9-110V systems.
Plan the Changeover
Fleet changeovers work best in batches, not all at once.
Trial a small quantity on one machine type first, then roll the tested model number out across the fleet.
