How to Specify Private Label Packaging for Auto Electrical Parts
Neutral Packing Is the Default Option
All parts are shipped in neutral packaging by default unless otherwise specified. This means no branding, no logos, no product names, and no references to CHINO ELECTRIC on the outer carton or inner box. This is standard for buyers who resell under their own brand or who do not want the origin manufacturer visible to end users.
Custom Branding Requires Artwork Submission
To use your own brand box, you must provide approved artwork for the outer carton and inner box. The artwork must include your brand name, logo, product name, barcode, and any required regulatory labels. We do not design packaging; we only print what you provide in the correct format.
Barcode and Label Data Must Be Supplied
If you require barcodes on the packaging, you must provide the full barcode data, including the EAN or UPC code, the product name, the part number, and the voltage. We do not generate barcodes or assign product codes. All label content must be accurate and legally compliant for the destination market.
Carton Marking for Customs Clearance
The outer carton must include customs marking as required by the destination country. This includes the country of origin, gross and net weight, dimensions, and the UN number if applicable. We will print this information exactly as provided. Any missing or incorrect data delays customs clearance.
Artwork Approval Process Before Production
Once you submit your packaging artwork, we will review it for print readiness and file format. We will return feedback within 24 hours. After you confirm the final version, we proceed to printing. No production begins until the artwork is approved in writing.
What You Must Supply for Custom Packaging
To proceed with private label packaging, you must provide: your brand name, logo, product name, part number, voltage, barcode data, customs marking text, and high-resolution artwork in PDF or AI format. Without all of these, we cannot process the order.
Quick Answers
Can I use my own brand box instead of neutral packing?
Yes. We offer custom branded boxes. You must supply the artwork and all required label data before production begins.
What file formats do you accept for packaging artwork?
We accept high-resolution PDF or AI files. The artwork must be print-ready with correct bleed, crop marks, and CMYK color mode.
Do you provide barcode generation for custom packaging?
No. You must provide the full barcode data, including EAN or UPC code, product name, and part number. We do not assign or generate barcodes.
What information must be on the carton for customs?
The carton must include the country of origin, gross and net weight, dimensions, and any required UN or hazard symbols. We print exactly what you provide.
How long does artwork approval take?
We review artwork within 24 hours of receipt. Once you confirm the final version, we proceed to printing. Delays occur only if the artwork is incomplete or incorrect.
Is there a minimum order for custom packaging?
No. Custom packaging is available on any order, including trial orders. However, the full artwork and data must be provided before production.
Can I change the packaging after the order is placed?
Only if the artwork has not yet been printed. Once the packaging is in production, changes cannot be made without delaying the shipment.
