The 11th Iraq Energy Exhibition and Conference was held from 10 to 12 January 2026 at the Baghdad International Fairgrounds, covering electricity, oil, gas and renewable energy.
The event was organised with the highest level of government support, under the official patronage of the Iraqi Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Electricity, the Ministry of Oil and the National Investment Commission, focusing on Iraq's strategic transformation and modernisation goals in the energy sector.
Across a total exhibition area of 125,000 square metres and 16 halls, the fair was expected to host more than 1,600 international exhibiting companies from over 90 countries, with 17 countries participating through national pavilions and more than 40,000 energy professionals attending.
The programme was structured around six main sectors: smart solutions, electricity distribution, renewable and clean energy, power generation, energy investments and electricity transmission. Transmission and distribution build-out on this scale is exactly where insulator supply schedules have to be planned years ahead.
