Type YT-1000R Electro-pneumatic valve positioner is used for operation of pneumatic rotary valve actuators by means of electrical controller or control system with an analog output signal of DC 4 to 20 mA or split Ranges.

YT1000R EP Valve Positioner converts the current signal output by the control room into a gas signal that drives the regulating valve.

According to the friction force of the valve stem when the regulating valve is working, YT1000R EP Positioner offsets the unbalanced force produced by the fluctuation of the medium pressure, so that the valve opening corresponds to the control room output.

Questions buyers ask

What does the positioner do when line pressure swings?

It offsets the unbalanced force that the pressure fluctuation produces on the plug, keeping valve opening in correspondence with the control-room output.

Is a separate 24 V supply needed?

Not normally. Smart positioners usually work from the 4–20 mA signal alone; a 24 V DC supply is added only when that signal cannot meet the unit's power consumption.
