The YT-1000R is the rotary counterpart of the linear unit: it positions quarter-turn pneumatic actuators over 0–90° from a 4–20 mA DC signal. This is the standard black build.

Technical background

Type YT-1000R Electro-pneumatic valve positioner is used for operation of pneumatic rotary valve actuators by means of electrical controller or control system with an analog output signal of DC 4 to 20 mA or split Ranges.

YT1000R Electro Pneumatic Valve Positioner- According to whether the valve positioner has CPU or not, the electro pneumatic positioner can be divided into ordinary electro valve positioner and intelligent electro valve positioner. Ordinary electro valve positioners do not have a CPU, so they are not intelligent and cannot process related intelligent calculations.

The intelligent electro valve positioner has a CPU, which can process related intelligent calculations, for example, it can perform nonlinear compensation of the forward channel, and the fieldbus electric valve positioner can also be equipped with PID and other functional modules to realize the corresponding calculations.

According to the gain symbol of the valve positioner output and input signal, it is divided into positive acting valve positioner and reverse acting valve positioner. When the input signal of a positive-acting valve positioner increases, the output signal also increases, so the gain is positive.

Questions buyers ask

What makes a positioner 'intelligent' in this range?

The presence of a CPU. An ordinary electro-pneumatic positioner has none; the intelligent version can run non-linear compensation of the forward channel and, on fieldbus units, PID blocks.

Positive or reverse acting — which do I get?

Both exist. On a positive-acting unit the output rises with the input signal; specify the acting mode with the order.
