Application

Shoe Making Materials

Shoes are exposed to all weather conditions and have to bear the most diverse range of stresses. United Industry is the solution for superior adhesion in the manufacture of shoes.

Where Hot Melt Is Used In A Shoe

Thermoplastic adhesive powder is used primarily for durable adhesion of toe puffs, shoe lining materials and soles.

Polyamide resin is specially designed for vamp adhesive.

Hot melt adhesive film is a good choice for seamless construction and other applications.

Polyester and polyurethane granule, powder and film are ideally suited for bonding sensitive substrates.

Material Range For This Application

Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU)

United TPU adhesive powder is high end, combining extreme elasticity with a soft touch, leading to a transfer that will outlast the garment. TPU also has a wide heated temperature range in process.

Thermoplastic Polyester (PES)

United PES adhesives are in big demand for applications needing high bonding strength and water wash resistance. PES is recommended where elasticity is not so much required.

Thermoplastic Polyamide (PA)

United PA adhesives are designed for the highest bonding strength requirement. With an easy process and a wide application range, PA embodies an outstanding economy principle of cost.
