Six Steps We Work Through With You
Specify for Cleaning
Open head drums with removable lids and locking rings, and IBC containers with removable top lids, can be washed out properly. Tight head packs cannot.
Choose Reusable Closures
HDPE and PE closures, steel and stainless drum closures and galvanized locking rings are all reusable, subject to gasket condition.
Replace the Wear Parts
Gaskets, O-rings and cap seals are the consumables. Valves, lids, rings and closures are the parts that come back into service.
Refit Rather Than Scrap
A tote with a failed valve is not a scrap tote. DN50 and DN80 replacement ball and butterfly valves fit most IBC brands.
Optimise Pack Size
Finding the packaging size that best fits the space reduces material use and waste, which is the first of the three green packaging strategies.
Close the Loop
Collect, clean and recondition steel drums, plastic barrels and IBC containers so they go back into circulation instead of into waste.

Can a failed IBC valve be replaced?
Yes. The DN50 ball valve, DN50 butterfly valve, DN80 butterfly valve and camlock ball valve are all supplied as replacements and fit most IBC brands.
Which containers can be reused?
The plastic drums, jerry cans and IBC containers can all be cleaned and sanitised for reuse, subject to the previous contents.
What are the consumable parts?
Gaskets, O-rings and cap seals. Those are replaced at each cycle while the closures and rings are reused.
