Six Steps We Work Through With You
Map the Pack Sizes
List the volumes the product actually ships in. In this range that runs 1L to 12.5L jerry cans, 5L to 30L stackable jerry cans, 30L to 200L drums and 500L to 1000L IBC containers.
Fix the Neck and Thread Standards
Choose the neck standards once and apply them across the range: 42mm for the small jerry cans, DIN51, DIN60 and DIN61 for the stackable range, 2 inch bungs for the drums and S60x6 for the IBC valves.
Select Closures Against the Product
Match gasket and liner material to the filled liquid, and decide whether venting is needed. A vented closure is specified where the product builds pressure with temperature.
Add the Dispensing Parts
Decide how each pack is emptied: a dosage pump on small cans, a faucet or drum pump on drums, a valve with an adapter or spout on the totes.
Confirm Approval and Marking
Where the product is regulated, confirm the UN approval on the container and the UN31HA1/Y marking on the IBC containers before the first run.
Set Colour and Branding
Container colours, closure colours and printed logos on cap seals are fixed at this point so all sizes look like one product family.

Do the closures carry across sizes?
Where the neck standards are shared, yes. The 42mm neck runs across the 1L to 12.5L cans, and DIN51, DIN60 and DIN61 across the 5L to 30L range.
Can all the sizes be branded consistently?
Yes, through container colour, closure colour and printed cap seals.
