SF6 Recovery System

A recovery system is not a vacuum pump with a pretty panel. It is a gas path that can accept a live-equipment pressure, compress without oil in the process stream, and park the inventory in a storage vessel while the crew works.

GNR positions this cart for manufacture and maintenance of SF6-filled apparatus. The original site described the offer as a whole solution for recovery and reuse — emission-conscious, oil-free, delivered as a package with planning, installation and startup support.

What the cart is asked to do

• Connect to a GIS compartment or breaker fill point with a sealed hose run.
• Recover SF6 into onboard or cylinder storage instead of releasing it.
• Hold residual pressure low enough that the cover can come off under the owner’s procedure.
• Hand the same inventory back for refill after inspection or repair.
