Field handling workflow

1. Isolate the compartment under the owner’s switching rules.
2. Connect a sealed recovery path. Check fittings before the valve opens.
3. Recover into the cart or into a dedicated cylinder.
4. Confirm residual pressure against the written limit.
5. Open, repair or inspect.
6. Evacuate air and moisture.
7. Refill with recovered or make-up SF6.
8. Leak-check the joints you touched.

GNR equipment sits on steps 3, 6 and 7. The switching rules stay with the owner.
