GNR oil-less compressors are built for industrial gas service where oil in the discharge is not acceptable. Published characteristics of the line:
| Architecture | Complete oil-less piston compressor, gas-tight sealing, air-cooled |
|---|---|
| Motor power | 5.5 to 11 kW |
| Speed range | 970 to 1450 1/min |
| Suction pressure | max. 6 bar (pressurized sealed crankcase option up to 9 bar) |
| Final discharge | max. 60 bar; standard models designed to 600 psig |
| Flow at atmospheric intake | approx. 120 m³/h |
| Booster version | flow rate max. approx. 300 m³/h |
| Cylinders | up to four oil-free single-acting cylinders on an “S” type crosshead crankcase |
| Cooling | heat exchanger, cylinders and crankcase air-cooled; aluminum crankcase to limit mass |
| Options | explosion-proof version; compact foundation-free installation |
Figures above are the published GNR oil-less compressor line values. Combinations of inlet pressure, discharge pressure and required flow still need a sizing pass — contact engineering rather than picking a row from this table and hoping.
Gases named on that line: SF6, helium, hydrogen and noble gas. The same machine family is the reason an oil-less recovery cart can exist.
