A port does not buy a frequency converter. It buys a way to keep a 60 Hz vessel quiet on a 50 Hz quay — or the reverse — without running the ship’s auxiliary engines all night.
The published shore-power range starts at 1000 kVA and stops at 4000 kVA. Containerized IP65 frames are listed for the quay; IP32 indoor frames for a substation room. Output frequency is 50 Hz, 60 Hz or 400 Hz.
