320 cm Stainless Steel Root DJ Desk in Beijing
A 3200 mm mirror polished SS304 root form built as a working DJ desk for an office at Block SOHO B in Sanlitun.
Project Record
A sculpture that is also furniture has to take weight and daily contact, so the shell thickness and the internal frame are set by use rather than by appearance alone. The published record gives the size as 3200 mm, the material as SS304 and the surface as mirror polishing. The workshop published a video of this installation.
