Golden Stainless Steel Bird Sculpture at a Taipei Hotel
A 180 by 60 by 60 cm SS304 bird finished gold for the lobby of Hotel Resonance Taipei, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton property.
Project Record
Hotel lobby work carries a constraint that outdoor public art does not: the piece is seen from a metre away by people waiting, so the finish is inspected at close range every day. The published record gives the size as 180 by 60 by 60 cm and the material as SS304. A golden finish on stainless steel is applied as a coating over the polished shell, which means the polish underneath still has to be sound.
