In strong wind, angle the canopy into the gust so the double layer can vent.

What do the 46, 54 and 60 inch figures mean?
They are the arc measurement across the open canopy for the 23, 27 and 30 inch sizes. Both figures describe the same umbrella and are quoted together because different markets use different conventions.
Why fibreglass rather than steel?
Fibreglass flexes under gust load and returns to shape, and it does not conduct. Steel is stiffer but takes a permanent set once it bends.
Does it close automatically?
No. The mechanism is auto open. Closing is done by hand, which is standard on golf-size canopies.
Do you have a certified wind rating?
