Getting The Most Out Of It

Extend the shaft fully before pressing the button so the sections lock.

Point the canopy away from people when opening; the spring is quick.

Press the button again to close, then push the shaft down by hand to collapse the sections.

Does the button close it completely?
The button collapses the canopy. You then push the telescopic sections down by hand to get it back to folded length, which is normal for every three-section auto close umbrella.
Why a steel frame rather than fibreglass?
Steel keeps the unit cost workable at promotional volumes and is stiff enough for a 21 inch canopy. Fibreglass is the better choice on larger canopies, which is why our golf models use it.
