The Route

From Brief To Delivered Umbrella

  1. Tell us the use

    Who carries the umbrella, where, and whether they keep it. That decides more of the specification than any other answer.

  2. Pick format and size

    Folding, stick or straight, and a canopy from 19 to 34 inch. Bag-carried means folding; open ground means a larger canopy on a fibreglass frame.

  3. Choose frame and fabric

    Frame material follows canopy size and use. Fabric and coating follow whether the umbrella is for rain, sun or visibility.

  4. Set the branding

    Colour count and artwork type decide the printing method. We lay the artwork out panel by panel and flag anything that will not reproduce.

  5. Approve a sample

    A physical sample is produced and approved before any bulk fabric is cut.

  6. Production and packing

    The run is produced against the approved sample, inspected, sleeved and cartoned to your marking.

Customization Questions

Can I combine options from different models?

Within limits. A shaft only takes certain handles, and a canopy size only works with certain frames. Send us the combination you want and we will tell you what is buildable rather than guessing.

Is there an extra charge for customization?

Branding and non-standard components affect the price, and how much depends on quantity and method. It is quoted per order rather than published as a surcharge.

Can you make a size that is not on the list?

The sizes listed are what we build across the formats. If you need something outside them, ask, and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth tooling for your quantity.

How do I send artwork?

Email it to [email protected] with the model and quantity. Vector files are best; for photographic designs send the highest resolution original you have.
