What This Umbrella Is
A 23 inch straight manual open umbrella with an ABS shine handle that lights the shaft from the inside. Where a reflective strip only works when a headlight hits it, the LED handle emits its own light, so the user is visible on unlit paths as well as on roads. The canopy is 190T solid pongee polyester and can be supplied with a reflective strip as well.

Can it also have a reflective strip?
Yes. The canopy is available as solid pongee or with a reflective strip added, which gives you emitted light from the handle and returned light from the canopy.
Is the handle waterproof?
The handle is designed for rain use, but it houses an electrical assembly and should not be immersed. Dry it after use.
