Product Overview

Sintered Silicon-Wear Sleeves

Silicon Carbide (SiC) is one of the most popular high performance tribo-materials, which has been commercially available for more than twenty-five years.

The wear sleeve used in rotating support, aligning, anti-thrust and seal of the axle of motor, centrifuge, protector and separator of the submerged electric pump in the adverse working conditions of high speed rotation, sand lash abrasion and gas corrosion in the oil field, such as slide bearing sleeve, motor axle sleeve, aligning bearing sleeve, anti-thrust bearing sleeve and seal axle sleeve.

The product which is made of good quality material has good wear and corrosion resistance and outstanding mechanic properties, and is worn only slightly through a long time running with higher accuracy.

Manufacturing and Quality Control

How This Part Is Made

Production begins with the raw materials in powder form and finishes with a sintered carbide component that achieves all OEM specifications.

1

Powder Preparation

Production begins with the raw materials in powder form, prepared on the spray granulator.

2

Forming

The prepared powder is formed into green parts on the dry press.

3

Sintering

High temperature vacuum sintering in the sintering stove.

4

Grinding And Polishing

CNC grinding and polishing bring the seal faces to final geometry.

5

Testing

Hardness testing and physical testing before the parts are released.

FAQ

Sintered Silicon-Wear Sleeves FAQ

Which Grades Of Silicon Carbide Are Available
Reaction Bonded Silicon Carbide (RB SiC), a very economical material with excellent wear characteristics and good chemical resistance, and Sintered Silicon Carbide (SSiC), where the absence of free silicon makes it most resistant to chemically-aggressive fluids and ideal for high temperature applications.
What Sleeve Types Do You Make
Normal straight axle sleeve, cylindrical axle sleeve with slot, axle sleeve with convex stage, axle sleeve with slot and convex stage, and non-standard axle sleeve.
Where Are The Sleeves Used
In rotating support, aligning, anti-thrust and seal of the axle of motor, centrifuge, protector and separator of the submerged electric pump in the oil field.
How Well Do They Hold Accuracy
The product is worn only slightly through a long time running, so it keeps higher accuracy.
Do You Make Non-Standard Sleeves
Yes. We produce the products according to the drawings and requirements of our customers, and we also recommend, design and develop new types against the customer needs.
