What Is The Difference Between SSiC And RBSiC
SSiC has almost no free silicon, which makes it most resistant to chemically-aggressive fluids and ideal for high temperature applications, with a maximum service temperature in air of 1600 °C. RBSiC is a very economical material with excellent wear characteristics and good chemical resistance, for medium acid or mild alkaline medium, up to 1000 °C.
