What The Vertical Lift Cold Storage Door Does
Howcool Vertical Lift Cold Storage Doors (also called "sectional cold-room doors") open upward like a garage door, saving valuable floor space in narrow corridors. Door leaf is assembled from multiple horizontal PU-core panels hinged together, riding on vertical steel tracks. When opened, the door sits flat against the ceiling — zero floor footprint.
Primary application: high-traffic loading bays, dock doors for refrigerated trucks, and multi-bay distribution centres where side-sliding doors would obstruct adjacent doorways. Door sizes from 2440×2130mm up to 12000×15000mm. Flame-retardant Class A standard panels available.
