S Platform Brushless Electric Boat Motor for DIY Builds
The drive on its own: five thrust ratings, four shaft lengths and no fixed mounting, so the installer decides how it attaches to the boat.
What It Is
The S platform strips the drive back to the parts that generate thrust. Mount and power switch are both listed as options rather than fitted equipment, which is what makes it the platform of choice for a builder integrating propulsion into their own hull, frame or steering arrangement.
Shaft choice is wider here than on any other platform: 10", 24", 32", 42" (standard) and 52". The 10" shaft in particular exists for installations where the drive sits in a well or a purpose-built bracket rather than hanging off a transom.

How to Specify and Fit It
Decide the mounting first — transom, well or custom bracket — then pick the shaft length to suit.
Specify the mount and power switch as options if you are not fabricating your own.
Match battery voltage to the model: 12/24 V on the S100, 24 V on the S150 and S200, 24/48 V on the S300, 48 V on the S400.
If the control board will sit outside the drive, order the external controller box in the matching voltage.
