What It Is Made From
Aluminium feet with stainless steel hardware. Bonded down with a polyurethane construction sealant such as Sikaflex 221, the aluminium foot gives a mechanical interface to the panel frame and the adhesive does the work at the roof.

How to Fit It
Step 1
Attach the four feet to the panel frame with the supplied hardware.
Step 2
Dry-fit on the roof and mark the foot positions.
Step 3
Clean and degrease the roof at each position.
Step 4
Bond each foot with Sikaflex 221 heavy duty bonding sealant, or fix mechanically if the surface allows.
Step 5
Leave the sealant to cure fully before driving.

Do I have to drill the roof?
No. We advise using Sikaflex 221 heavy duty bonding sealant to attach the mounts to a caravan or motor home, so there is no need to drill through the roof.
Why are the surface fixings not included?
Because they vary so much from one application to another. The right fastener for a steel roof is wrong for a composite caravan roof.
