BW3024-X is the fixed steel-base version of the BW3024 swivel chair, so a meeting room can be fitted with visitor seating that matches the task chairs outside it. A fixed base has no mechanism and no gas lift, which makes it cheaper, lighter and effectively maintenance free - the right trade for a chair that is sat in for an hour at a time.
