Each Decision and When It Is Made

1. Read the artwork
   Line weight and the number of colours decide whether soft enamel, hard enamel or printing is the right route.
2. Pick the enamel
   Soft enamel keeps a recessed, textured surface. Cloisonne resists heat, never fades and is the choice for collectible pieces.
3. Decide on epoxy
   An epoxy coat over soft enamel levels the surface and protects the colour on items that are handled daily.
4. Choose the plating
   Fourteen standard finishes from gold and silver through to black nickel and dye black.
5. Choose the attachment
   Butterfly, rubber, deluxe or jewelry clutch, magnet back, key ring, safety pin, stick pin, tie tack with chain or ball chain.
6. Lock the standard
   The approved sample becomes the reference for every future reorder.
