The core product lines are casual wear, sports and yoga wear, seamless activewear and underwear, which is exactly what the 47 styles on this site cover. The company exports primarily to Europe, the United States, Australia and Japan.
What the Factory Can Do
The factory spans 10,000 square metres in Yiwu, Zhejiang. It employs over 300 people and can make more than 200,000 pieces a month, which works out at roughly 5 million pieces a year. It produces t-shirts, polo shirts, sports bras, sweatshirts, shorts and pants, and it has passed a BSCI audit. Buyers are welcome to visit at any time to see their own production.
How Fabric Is Sourced
The sourcing team works with mills near the Yiwu factory and presents fabric options at development, including sustainable qualities on request. For larger quantity orders that need competitive pricing, the proximity of those mills is where the cost advantage comes from. Trims such as aglets, zippers and tapes are sourced and developed for each order rather than taken from stock.
How the Company Sells
Tanbei exhibits at the trade fairs its customers attend: ISPO Munich in 2023 and again in 2024, ISPO Nanjing in 2024 and the MAGIC show in Las Vegas in 2023. Enquiries are handled by English speaking staff, which is the practical reason a comment on a sample survives the trip from a buyer in Europe to a line in Yiwu.
