The Sinotruk Steyr 12000liters wastewater vacuum truck is a 10 cubic meter septic tank truck built on a 4x2 Steyr chassis for municipal sanitation and waste collection in urban and rural areas. It is designed for frequent operation in unpaved roads and low infrastructure zones where sewer access is limited. The truck collects liquid waste, sludge, and small solid debris from septic tanks, pit latrines, and blocked drains, then transports and discharges the load at treatment facilities. It is used by public works departments and waste contractors in countries with developing sanitation networks, including Rwanda, where road conditions and access to fixed infrastructure are challenging.
