The Sinotruk HOWO 8000 litre sewer suction truck is a 4x2 vacuum sewage tanker built on a Sinotruk HOWO chassis with a 160 HP YUCHAI diesel engine and 8.25R20 tires. It is designed for municipal sanitation departments and waste contractors that need to collect sludge, mud, and debris from manholes, water wells, and sediment pits in urban and rural areas with limited access. The truck uses a high-efficiency vacuum pump with a 93% vacuum rate and a 6 metre suction lift to fill the 8000 litre tank in under 10 minutes, and discharges the load in 8 minutes using hydraulic lift dumping and air blowdown. It operates from both the cab and side of the vehicle with manual, pneumatic, and hydraulic controls.
